From the time he was a child Brad Bell has had a camera in his hand. Assisting a family friend and professional photographer with manual printmaking eventually led to his own 35 mm camera and basement darkroom at age 14.
Starting his professional career as Public Relations Director of The Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA, he continued his love of photography having the opportunity to work on a few projects with photographer Gary Gruby. This position also gave a greater exposure to the graphic arts: layout, design and typesetting. All of this led to the founding of a commercial printing company which eventually grew into the successful publishing company that it is today. Over the years he has had the pleasure of working with photographers Nathan Partridge and Randy Kimbrell, and today uses much of his own work in his company’s publications.
A longtime member of the Printing Industry Association of Georgia and an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association for over 20 years, Brad served as principal photographer for AAA’s Membership Campaign for over 10 years.
Brad’s expanding photographic work led to the founding of Brad Bell Photography in 2002. Specializing in multi-family real estate and travel photography, he has done work for several property management companies including AIMCO, Post Properties, RAM Partners, Lane Company, Worthing Southeast, Lincoln and Walton Communities, and his work has been featured in Apartment Finder and For Rent magazines as well as several national publications. His portfolio includes real estate, travel, portraiture, corporate and commercial.
Hand in hand with his love for photography is his passion for travel. From the capitals of Europe to distant points in Asia, Australia, South Africa and South America with lots of stops in between, he continues to capture amazing photographs from around the world.
